CBT-i and Trans-C Sleep Interventions

Targeted, Evidence-Based Solutions
CBT-i is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for insomnia. This is the first-line treatment for non-medical causes of insomnia, according to the American College of Physicians. Research has shown CBT-i to have longer lasting benefits for insomnia without any of the side effects from medication. Trans-C stands for Transdiagnostic Intervention for Sleep and Circadian Dysfunction, the protocol used by the Golden Bear Sleep and Mood Disorder clinic at UC Berkeley. It expands on CBT-i and is particularly beneficial for sleep problems related to anxiety and trauma.
